SOUTH JERSEY BLACK STORM ALUMNI
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

BLACK STORM ALUMS LISTED AS “KEYS TO THE GAME” ON ESPNU AT THE KONICA-MINOLTA BIG CITY CLASSIC AND INAUGURAL OPENING OF THE NEW MEADOWLANDS ARENA IN EAST RUTHERFORD NEW JERSEY

On Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 4 PM, with a slew of Black Storm 8th Graders and their parents on hand to witness all the action in person for the historic opening of the new Meadowlands Arena and Konica-Minolta Big City Classic, #1 ranked Univeristy of Virginia faced off against ACC rival and #2 ranked University of North Carolina with Black Storm’s own #26, Michael Burns, a red-shirted junior, facing off for UNC and #44, Chris LaPierre (affectionately known as Shocker) starting as a defensive Middie for the Cavaliers.  During the national telecast, Burns was touted as a “key to the game” for the Tarheels due to his prowess on face-offs, whereas his Black Storm brethren, LaPierre, received the identical kudos as the #1 ranked freshman in the country with 17 points and 39 ground balls going into the game.
